Covenant Writ of Union, Canto 1

This one appeared in the Halo 2 Vol. 1 soundtrack's inlay card. It is written in heptameter:

So full of hate were our eyes
That none of us could see
Our war would yield countless dead
But never victory

So let us cast arms aside
And like discard our wrath
Thou, in faith, will keep us safe
Whilst we find the path

-High Council of Concordance, First Age of Reconciliation

Excerpt, Ratification Parley

This one appeared in the Halo 2 Vol. 2 soundtrack's inlay card. It is written in heptameter, just like the one from the Vol. 1 soundtrack.

What hope has this alliance
If we cannot conquer
Doubt of faith not each other-
If our belief should falter?

But put an ear to the stones
Of this Holy City
Inside Their voices echo still:
"Seven rings begin the journey!"

-High Council of Concordance

Destroyer's Invocation

This is a backmasked poem that can be heard in two places. First, it can be heard in the Whisper in the Storm cutscene of Halo 2. Secondly, it can be heard in the first act of the Mausoleum Suite on the Halo 2 Vol. 2 soundtrack. It is pretty much the same in both places, but for practicality's sake, it is easier to rip the track to your computer from the soundtrack, and reverse it than to hook your Xbox up and record it from there and what-not. Or, you can save yourself the hassle and check it out at halo.bungie.org, where they have it already done for you. (Here)

It is unknown who the source of this poem is. Judging by the samples, it is presumably Gravemind, though it doesn't make sense why he'd be on High Charity at this point in the game.

The title was unknown until the Halo 2 Vol. 2 soundtrack came out, where that specific part is titled "Destroyer's Invocation."

I have walked among men and Angels for 3,000 years.
Time has no end, no beginning, no purpose.
I wander the earth, seeking forgiveness for my horrible crimes against God and man.
I live to see death, destruction, evil over the light.
But the light cannot be extinguished.
I live in the prison of my own demise.
I am lost in time.
